The 1st issue (Gender Equality and Justice in the Law) discusses issues on gender discrimination and reproductive rights in the Philippines, with contributions from Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago and Justice Flerida Ruth Romero. The 2nd issue (Emerging Legal Challenges) features an article by Justice Florentino Feliciano, and focuses on how the digital age and other developments present new problems and gaps in existing law. The 3rd issue (Remedying the Remedies) demonstrates the need for reform in procedural law by identifying the inadequacies of and proposing potential solutions to grey areas in this field. The 4th issue (Novel Approaches to Traditional Legal Dilemmas) presents the unique perspectives of the contributors with respect to traditional legal issues, and is characterized by Justice Antonio Carpio in its foreword as a step towards the “enrichment of legal discourse.”
